I interrogate
complex systems

01 About me

I’m a design researcher, focusing on new product development for AI Hardware Acceleration and Synthetic Data. My work is guided by speculative futures, weak signals, patterns in data, and emerging technology trends.

  • People will do what’s easy more often than they’ll do what’s right — I firmly believe that value increases when design meets technology. I empower design teams and cross-functional stakeholders to build intuitive and meaningful user experiences that ultimately drive business value and uncover future opportunities for growth.

  • As creatures of consequence, the key to staying inspired & leading with empathy is through exploring new places. Having lived across North America, Europe, and Asia, my exposure to new ways of living increased my ability to lead with curiosity rather than bias.

  • Having a multi-cultural upbringing has been one of the biggest influences on the way that I empathize with, interact with, and design for others. My approach to inclusivity & equitability stem from the deep understanding that different (and sometimes opposing) rituals, beliefs, and perspectives can co-exist when people feel safe and trust one another.

Global Innovation Design brings together design, culture, and enterprise. My thesis project (Ova) focused on increasing autonomy of young women & closing the healthcare gender-inequality gap by designing an at-home testing kit for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS), an integrated public care-delivery system, and a guerilla marketing campaign. My advisory board was made up of public and private clinical professionals, reproductive endocrinologists, service designers, and entrepreneurs.
